About This Game Apocalipsis: Harry at the End of the World is a traditional point-and-click adventure game, in the vain of Samorost and Machinarium, where solving puzzles comes with a sense of discovery and accomplishment. The art is amazing, the music is fantastic, and the puzzles are challenging enough. I wish it was a little bit longer, but overall it is great.. I really wanted to like this game, but unfortunately it doesn\u2019t quite hold up as I'd hoped. The animation is kind of cool but gets somewhat repetitive and boring after awhile. There is also hardly any sound going on, which seems like a weird choice for a game that\u2019s all about click and progress; after all, you have to build up the atmosphere somehow! Some of the puzzles are a bit illogical, basically what you do is you just click everything and see what\u2019s what, and the enigmatic art style doesn\u2019t really help: You\u2019ll often end up staring at a\u2026 thing on the screen not being able to make up what it is, let alone what it does, and sometimes there are two or more spots to click on a single object so you just have to go through every pixel on the screen and explore. Some of the puzzles\/levels are pretty straightforward though, and quite enjoyable as such.I guess Apocalipsis would be good enough for hangover entertainment etc. for most people, or just for killing time when your "priority" games start feeling like a chore and you need a break. If you\u2019re very interested for some reason and find it on a good sale you should definitely check it out.
